Professional Experience: |
I have four years of experience in the media & communications and private equity industries. During two of these years at 9.9 Media, a diversified and innovative media house, I led the development, communications and member engagement for a community of corporate leaders and Chief Information Officers. This involved engaging with prospective members, conducting meetings and signing membership contracts. Further, I led the dialogue with community members to design and communicate the group's agenda and develop events around these themes.
During this time, I also led a team of cross-functional members including database marketing, design and events personnel to operate the Chief Information Officer Business unit. This involved interacting with event sponsors to understand their requirements, communicating and delegating responsibilities to my team and executing events and community engagement activities within defined budgets.
Prior to joining 9.9 Media, I led marketing communications at a large private equity fund in India. This experience gave me the opportunity conduct direct marketing and business development, bringing in large individual investors into the fund. In addition, I also managed channel partners such as large financial institutions and banks, who brought in a substantial portion of the individual investments into the ongoing fund.
