Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Promotion, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and project appraisal and evaluation missions form the focus of more than 50 assignments in 25 years of professional experience in International Technical Cooperation. I have already worked for United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), the European Union (EU), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the British Department for International Development (DFID), the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), Welthungerhilfe, MISEREOR, sequa GgmbH and various consulting firms & foundations.
My spheres of activities comprise:
MSME Promotion ? Capacity building of MSME development organizations (associations, federations, public institutions, Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Business Development Centers) ? Refinement of Business Development Services ? Creation of enhanced advocacy and dialogue mechanisms for increased influence on private sector framework conditions ? Application and continuing development of participatory methods
TVET ? Preparation of sector analyses and master plans for national and regional TVET policies ? Training of BDS sector specialists and field agents ? Preparation of curricula for seminars and conferences
