INTERNATIONAL EMPLOYMENT
PSYCHOSOCIAL COORDINATOR, EBOLA TREATMENT UNIT, LIBERIA. Worked with governmental and NGOs to reduce the risk of spreading Ebola. Supervised and taught professional and non- professional staff evidence-based counseling, mental health practices and best operational practices. Did extensive staff and community training and education in line with the mission to provide healthcare during health crises and natural disasters. Developed standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies for psychosocial units including the design of inpatient and outpatient forms. Developed and implemented training programs for community members on Ebola life cycle and transmission, prevention of stigma and discrimination and peer to peer psychosocial support.
