Professional Experience:
Jane recently undertook an assignment whereby, she facilitated the production of a video-documentary to showcase ‘Gender-Responsive and Climate Change Adaptation strategies in Nigeria and Kenya and also Policy Brief for the African Working Group on Gender and Climate Change, sponsored by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) .
Jane had served as Country Manager for the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture /Sustainable Tree Crop Program (IITA/STCP) Cameroon, Coordinator for WOCAN West and Central Africa Region based in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
In her early years as a development professional she worked for SNV (Netherlands development Organization), as Technical Assistant for gender. Consultant and resource person for several Community-Based organizations, as well as national and international development programs.
Education:
Jane holds a Masters in Sustainable Development: International policy and Management from the School for International Training (SIT) Graduate Institute Washington, DC Center. Prior to this she had earned a professional Diploma in Integrated Rural Development (IRD)from the Pan- African Institute for Development- West Africa (PAID-WA)in Cameroon, and a Certificate in Women in Development/ Micro-Enterprise Management from PAID-WA as well. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Yaoundé- Cameroon.

Jane has also attended the follow professional Certification 'Reframing Leadership for Women and Men for Gender Equality'; 'British Council Interaction Leadership Programme'; 'Seminar Workshop on Gender and Institutional Change Organisational Development/ StrategicPlanning organized by KIT/IPD-AOS';
Affiliations and Achievements:
Jane has experience in capacity building, design and implementation of training programs, management of Community-Based Organizations and NGOs, analysis, planning, awareness raising and advocacy, Training of trainers, Monitoring and Evaluation, of Development Programs and Projects. In addition she has leadership and Human Resource Management staff supervision, mentoring, counselling, Organizational Development, Networking and Public Relations and representation, Policy and decision makers engagement and advocacy.
