Professional Experience:
- From june 2009 to my early retirement in July 2010, management of the supply operations of UNICEF Senegal with an average throughput of USD 6 millions;
- From October 2005 to May 2009, Management of the Supply and Logistics operations of Eastern DCR with an average Supply throughput of USD 20 Million and an average stock of USD 4 million in a very complex Emergency situation;
- From January 2003 to September 2005, Assist the Supply and Logistics Officer in the management of the supply operations of UNICEF Mali (USD 5,000,000 in average): this involves planning supplies with programme staff, assist them to issue supply requisitions; Undertake local procurement of commodities such as health and education equipment, fuel and lubricants, construction materials, stationery etc..Undertake field visits to monitor efficiency and appropriate use of supply inputs;
- From January 1998 to December 2002, Manage the supply operations of UNICEF Mali (UP TO USD 6,000,000 in 2002): this involves planning supplies with programme staff, assist them to issue requisitions and undertake procurement of goods as required;
From July 1996 to December 1997:

Follow-up of private radio activities within the Communication Programme: this involves Financial follow-up (Cash and Supply) as well as Programme activities (organization of training sessions etc...)

From January 1993 to June 1996:

Liaison Officer (Chief of Sub-Office) NOB – Mopti, Mali

- In collaboration with Programme Staff and regional authorities, follow-up of all programme activities within the region of Mopti;

- Financial, Administrative and Supply/Logistics management of the sub-office;

- Supervision of supply distribution in the Mopti region and forwarding of supplies to northern regions

- Ensure proper clearance, storing and distribution of supplies. This involves the management of a warehouse with supplies reaching a value of up to USD 500,000. Coordinate in collaboration with programme staff and government counterparts the hand-over process of this warehouse as well as all clearing, storing and distribution functions to the Government.

Follow up with government authorities (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance –Customs’ and Taxes’ departments all exemption documents for incoming goods as well as locally purchased ones;

- Undertake Procurement Services on behalf of the Ministry of Health and NGO’s.

First University Degree in Public Administration with concentration on Secretarial Study in Bamako, December 1977.Cambridge First Certificate and Pittmans' Business Certificate in Oxford Language Center in 1981. UN Proficiency in English in 1982. Many training workshops in Supply Management attended while on duty, two oh which in Supply Division (Copenhagen), and in Abidjan (1998), Accra (2000), Banjul (2002) and Dakar (2007).
