Thus, making distinctive and innovative contributions to knowledge generation in local governance, agriculture and rural development; providing leadership in functional areas (policies, programming and management) and in the development of technical and human resources and innovative approaches to difficult strategy, policy or other complex issues. His central involvement has been as a change management expert, leading experts and multi-sectoral and multi-cultural teams in designing and implementing rural investment reforms and contributing to institutional analysis, community-driven development, development of M&E systems targeting all categories of the rural poor in the Africa and SE Asia Regions.

PhD in rural anthropology (2014) with a strong focus on rural institutions, local government and governance, organizational and institutional development. Masters in Economics with a specialization in rural finance. Post graduate diplomas in project administration and program management and research methods. Have several training in result-based management of programs with the World Bank and other organizations
