Professional Experience:
My experience includes writing reports, briefs, case studies and press releases, developing communications strategies, qualitative research, knowledge management and project co-ordination for organizations such as Unicef, International Red Cross, Unesco, Oxfam, Save the Children, Commonwealth Foundation and Plan International. I have experience of working on health, water, child and maternal mortality, MDGs, disaster response and climate change, with particular experience of climate change adaptation issues.

Previous to my work in development, I was a producer at the BBC where I was responsible for the delivery of the film including the concept, writing the script, organization of the production, timely delivery and budget. Programmes include ‘Mount Kenya’, de-forestation in Kenya for BBC World.

I enjoy working in a team, have attention to detail but can see the big picture and work efficiently to deadlines.

Reports that I have written were high profile with attention in the media (BBC and Guardian) as well as in policy circles·
The reports were not just publications but used as advocacy and campaign tools for example in the Copenhagen Climate Change conference·
Some of the recommendations that I collected were used, for example in programme design and taken up by the World Bank.
