Professional Experience: |
Provide transaction management services for two key areas: 1. BNP Paribas Euro Medium Term Notes Programme (EMTN), support for the following teams: Fixed income, commodities desk, syndicate desk, equity and interest rate derivatives investment banking operations of BNP Paribas across London, Paris, Tokyo, Brazil and Hong Kong. 2. Support for BNP Paribas Certificates, and Warrants Programme and other third party Euro/Global Medium Term Note Programmes (mainly issued as securities). Preparation and review of final terms documents, unitary prospectuses, listing documents and all other ancillary documents. These structures include reverse convertibles, index linked, share/index basket linked, fund linked and credit linked issues along with more straightforward floating and fixed rate types. Liaising closely with the client facing front office and advising on issues pertinent to each deal taking into account factors such as prospectus directive, public offerings, local regulations, European Law and risk. Furnishing the Fixed income Team with latest templates for each of the deals using standardised documentation to maximise efficiency. Liaising with the external/internal lawyers, MTN desk, traders, structures, marketers, agents and operational departments to ensure successful closure of each issue. This included enhancing the documentation by adding new products or non-standard procedures to close the deal. Dealing with the risks and issues surrounding public offers in the EU and other European countries. As a consequence of the failure of Lehman Brothers, prepared notices to Lehman administrators advising them of current outstanding deals of BNP and its client base. Responsible for the booming Tokyo stock market, which generated a significant number of transactions and certificates with a number of high profile clients. Building a strong rapport with ‘high profile‘ clients (such as World Bank, Mitsubishi Corporation Finance Plc, Bank of Ireland, Intesa Sanpaolo SpA, and IFC) and meeting client expectations in structuring deals in accordance with their requirements.
