I have excellent computer skills along with high proficiency in MS Office. I have outstanding proficiency in English and knowledge of French.
I am a strong communicator and collaborator. I have strong diplomacy and relationship management skills and demonstrated ability to work with leadership and subject matter experts (SMEs). I am well-organized and can work independently and within a team, in a way developing good networks and learning from them. I am known for my entrepreneurial thinking, achievement focus attitude and analytic and strategic thinking.
Currently, at Reliance Foundation, I am managing the Plant4Life - Environment Programme, which is aimed at building climate and socio-economic resilience by mainstreaming ecosystem-based approach (EbA) into sub-national policies and plans.
Earlier at HCL Foundation, I worked closely with the Leadership and was involved in HCL’s India and Global – Nature and Climate programming. I developed value propositions for Grant/Fund Management, provided strategic consulting for prospective partnerships, developed plans for new engagement opportunities, developed strategic communication materials, knowledge products and high-quality reports for decision making.
In India, I have successfully managed the Pan-India Environment programme Fund/Grant of around US$1.5mn/annum covering 25+ nature-based solution projects related to (i) Afforestation, Freshwater & Biodiversity Conservation (2) Coastal & Marine conservation (3) Carbon Markets. I led project development through all project development cycles including budgets. All these were managed through multi-stakeholder partnerships (MoUs/agreements) and policy dialog with Government Agencies and implementing NGOs/NPOs.
At Global level, I served as an international/global focal point for many of the global programmes at HCL. I have professional experience at international level working with UN Agencies like UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva which demonstrates my high-level ability to work in an interdisciplinary and international environment. With UNEP, I was involved in coordination, liaison, and inter-agency collaborations with multiple UN agencies. At WIPO, I supported development of WIPO GREEN Experts Database which was launched in UNFCCC COP23 Bonn, Germany and assisted in maintaining effective relationships and engagement with 70+ WIPO Members/Partners from public and private sector organizations.
