• I was a member of the Bank’s Technical Operations Committee (TOC) mandated to review project proposals and make recommendations before being reviewed by the Bank’s Credits Committee.
• Was country manager for Kenya, Uganda, Seychelles and Sudan.
• Deputised country managers for Malawi, Zimbabwe and Rwanda.
• Whilst Country Manager for Kenya, I increased the country portfolio in Kenya for direct lending for Project Finance from the seventh position to the first position, in terms of Project Finance loan portfolio, and consistently remained so until I left the Bank in 2007.
• Appraised several projects in various sectors of the economy, notably, manufacturing, agribusiness, Telecommunication, Tourism, Transport, just to name a few.
