Professional Experience:
My experience spans over twenty years managing supply chains in the UN, NGO, National Governments, and the private sector (mining, agro-chemicals production, construction, mechanical engineering, fabrication and transport). After graduating with a Higher National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply in 2001, cum laude, I achieved MCIPS in 2005 and went on to complete an MBA with Nottingham Trent University and an MSc in Operations and Supply and Chain Management with University of Liverpool. My areas of specialty are operations, procurement, transport and logistics, contracts, project management and capacity development. I have conducted inhouse trainings covering contracts and contracts management, strategy, public procurement, child centered development, public health quality assurance, quantification, logistics support for democratic governance, emergency logistics support and supplier capacity development among others. I hold UNDP-CIPS II certification and studying towards part 3. My country experience include Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Ethiopia, South Africa, Angola, Namibia, Zambia, Kenya, Mauritius, Thailand India, China, Hungary, France and Switzerland.

I have managed procurement projects financed through basket funds from multiple donors such as the Global Fund, EU, DFID, USAID, JICA, SIDA, World Bank, AFDB and other various multilateral institutions and donor governments.

Main procurement projects supported are WFP food and non-food procurements including IT, Warehousing and logistics, democratic governance and elections, protocol with Ministry of Foreign Affairs departments and customs authorities, multi-million-dollar construction projects (Warehouses, Reference Laboratories, Clean Rooms, Incinerators, Pharmaceutical Stores, Hospital and Clinic Facilities, including mobile Clinics for the UNDP/GF funded projects supporting the Ministry of Health and Child Care in Zimbabwe. In addition to that, I have procured construction materials and equipment for PG Industries Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe Rural Electrification Programme and child-centered development projects for Plan International. I have specialist planning and quantification experience for public health commodities for HIV Therapy, TB medicines, Malaria Control, COVID 19 PPE, diagnostic equipment, laboratory reagents and capacity development.

Until 4th of March 2024, I was working for the UNDP-Global Fund as PSM Officer, a Position I have held since 2013 after my stint in Liberia working as Procurement Specialist for the 2010-2012 Democratic Governance and Electoral Support cycle. I am currently working as Supply Management Specialist Consultant for Leander Exports Corporation, South Africa, whose thrust is on supporting procurements for aid and development projects in Southern Africa.

Achievements include establishment of procurement control systems at Liberia’s National Elections Commission, strategy and planning for electoral support where material waste was barely 5% despite working under strenuous logistics challenges emanating from bad weather, rudimentary road-network and limited inland freight services providers. Further achieved on time delivery for all elections materials - inks and ballot papers for the elections project in Liberia 2012 and Nigeria, 2015. I have deployed modern diagnostic systems in Zimbabwe, upgraded national laboratory facilities. Achieved 10% cost reduction through optimizing flow of public health goods for the UNDP/GF Partnership. Most importantly, I have managed cumulatively $4.5 million spend for National AIDS Council’s Adolescent Girls and Young Women Dreams Project for 12000 girl children in school.
